Israel could strike Iran without warning U.S.
WASHINGTON - Israeli officials say they won’t warn the U.S. if they decide to launch a pre-emptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities, according to one U.S. intelligence official familiar with the discussions. The pronouncement, delivered in a series of private, top-level conversations, sets a tense tone ahead of meetings in the coming days at the White House and Capitol Hill.
Israeli officials said that if they eventually decide a strike is necessary, they would keep the Americans in the dark to decrease the likelihood that the U.S. would be held responsible for failing to stop Israel’s potential attack. The U.S. has been working with the Israelis for months to persuade them that an attack would be only a temporary setback to Iran’s nuclear program.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak delivered the message to a series of top-level U.S. visitors to the country, including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the White House national security adviser and the director of national intelligence, and top U.S. lawmakers, all trying to close the trust gap between Israel and the U.S. over how to deal with Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Netanyahu delivered the same message to all the Americans who have traveled to Israel for talks, the U.S. official said.

I have long been a supporter of Israel and their fight to survive in a hostile land, surrounded by hostile Muslims that want to see Israel wiped off the map.
I believe that the American President, Barack Hussein Obama is, in his heart, one of those Muslims that would celebrate, secretly in HIS case, the demise of Israel and the victory of his Islamic brothers.
I can easily understand why Israel would keep Washington OUT of the loop, the trust level between Israel and the USA is so low, Israel couldn’t be certain that Obama wouldn’t give a warning to Iran in order for them to protect their nuclear resources.
For many years the USA has done everything they can to stop Israel from going after their attackers.
Every time the Palestinians launch rocket attacks against Israel, Washington goes into instant panic mode, knowing that if Israel launches an all-out retaliatory strike, the USA could be drawn into the fray and would have to take sides with one group or the other.
To be very honest, I am NOT at all certain that Obama would offer unequivocal backing to Israel. If recent past performance by Obama is ANY indication, he may condemn Israel and apologize to his Islamic brothers for their (Israel) actions.
The White House did not respond to requests for comment, and the Pentagon and Office of Director of National Intelligence declined to comment, as did the Israeli Embassy.
Of course the White House didn’t respond; they are still trying to formulate a somewhat believable lie to hand to the American people and Israel.
Now I am not saying that Israel is 100% right in ALL actions, they may be, but I just don’t have the information available to me to speak to their degree of right and wrong, but I can, and WILL say this; there are *some* Jews in America, thought to be on the Right and Conservative, that are as much the cause of Jew hatred as anything I can imagine.
Have you heard of the new movie that’s been recently released? Act of Valor? Did you know that according to some thought to be Conservative American Jewish writers that Act of Valor is ANTI-SEMITIC?
The 1st time I saw the accusation that Act of Valor was anti-Semitic was when I saw this garbage from *the Jew haters are everywhere* blogger Debbie Schlussel: Act of Valor OUTRAGE: Navy SEALs Movie’s Terrorist is … JEWISH (Tortures, Murders CIA Agents, Smuggles Jihadists into U.S.).
I wasn’t at all surprised to see histrionic blogger Pamela Geller with something very similar: Don’t See “Act of Valor” … SEALs Battle the Jew - Atlas Shrugs.
Both of these women are RADICAL in their support of Israel and everything Jewish.
I don’t have a problem with them being proud Jews, but both Geller and Schlussel have an *if YOU don’t kiss MY ass YOU are a Jew hater* attitude.
They BOTH seem to believe that there is no such thing as a BAD Jew, that there is NO WAY for a Jew to be portrayed as a villain in a movie. Well, here is the truth Ladies; there are BAD everything in this world, every race, religion and nationality has BAD people in their midst, people that make all the others look bad by their actions.
Geller and Schlussel have done more to shine a BAD light on Jews than most of the Muslim sites I have seen, simply through their RABID attacks on anyone that doesn’t blindly follow THEIR lead and support of Israel.
Israel has more than enough to deal with, they don’t need people like Schlussel and Geller complicating matter with their foolish, and DANGEROUS shenanigans.
No matter what cloth they are cut from, radicals are NEVER the solution, but they sure do contribute to the problem, and the hatred.

I doubt that Obama will come to Israel’s aid. It is not in his muslim blood. The Middle East is on fire, with much blame going to him and his fiasco in Egypt and Libya.
Obama is not a friend of Israel. As such , he would surely tell his muslim brothers of any attack Israel might launch. Best for BiBi to play it close to the vest. Let Barry read about it in the morning papers.
I hear from Israel that Bibi will give Obama a 12 second warning. He will call Obama 12 seconds before the first plane hits.
Iran has been at war with the United States since 1979 and the US has kowtowed to them. Israel will attack Iran and will take out their nuclear capabilities. It will take Iran 10 years to rebuild to the point they have it at today. But in doing so Israel will take massive casualties. The estimate is 50 to 75% of their force.
In the US military an estimate lose of 50% or more is too risky to try anything. So we don’t. In Israel it is considered the price to pay for the objective to be destroyed. They will do it.
If Israel uses their nukes they will have considerably less casualties. As for the Iranians not so much.
Well, it would really SUCK to be Iranian.. 😈

Since I remember the USS Liberty attack, I’m not a knee-jerk Israeli supporter. On the other hand, I wouldn’t inform Obama or any other Democrat of anything either. In fact, I don’t know how any of ’em got security clearances in the first place. The vetting process ain’t what it used to be.
Both the Israeli and U.S. governments conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the identity of the USS Liberty. SOURCE
I don’t dwell, nor do I lay blame over the USS Liberty, it was WAR and in WAR, shit happens… Israel made a mistake and they have long been castigated for it, don’t you think it’s time to move on?
Mistake or not, we didn’t annihilate Israel for it in ’67, what does it matter 45 years later?

Umm, well I think it all comes down to politics, as usual. Which, as usual means follow the money. Basti is gone so we will need to find yet another sleuth to track this one. However, in the end? Israel is a sovereign nation. They are under no obligation to ask us permission to protect themselves.
On the other side of things? Once we detect a launch perhaps a few stealth missions might be sort of included, on the side, an A team dispatched, or three? Navy SEALS do still know how to swim, and leave craters in their wake.
And Comm systems do fail from time to time leaving that damned traitor at 1600 Penn Ave looking for his teleprompter…
