Operation Fast and Furious: Why is American Media not covering it?

Operation Fast and Furious: Why is American Media not covering it?

Operation Fast and Furious … had that bastard of an operation been conducted under a Republican President, the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder and demanding the heads of ALL connected to it, and the media would be orgasmic.

As it stands right now, the only people that seem to be terribly concerned about Fast and Furious are the Mexican authorities, a few American bloggers, the occasional Texas border paper and Brian A. Terry’s family.

I don’t mean to sound hard-hearted, I do have sympathy for the Mexican people that have fallen victim to this Fast and Furious debacle, and I am truly sorry for their loss, but what matters more to me is the death (MURDER) of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry.

Why is this Fast and Furious news not being BLASTED (no pun intended) all over the Mainstream Media? Does Barack Hussein Obama and his lackey, Eric Holder, truly have that much control over American media?

Why are so few major newspapers and far too few dedicated Conservative bloggers the only ones covering Fast and Furious? Why is broadcast news ignoring it? What is being hidden from the American people and the rest of the world?

And for what its worth, WHY aren’t the American people in an uproar over this? Why isn’t every American Conservative and Republican raising pure HELL over Fast and Furious?

Why aren’t Americans burning up fax and phone lines to their Senators and Congressional representatives? Why aren’t they jamming servers with emails demanding action?

More importantly, WHY aren’t ALL Republican Senators and House members all over this and backing Darrell Issa for everything it’s worth? Why isn’t *Cry me a River* Boehner on this like a dog on a bone, encouraging Darrell Issa? Why do I have a bad feeling that our Congress basically doesn’t give a damn?

So, what’s the latest on Fast and Furious you ask? Well, here you go.

Report: Guns used in Mexico lawyer’s murder traced to Operation Fast and Furious

Firearms connected to Operation Fast and Furious were used in the 2010 slaying of the brother of the former Chihuahua state attorney general, according to a U.S. congressional report.

The report said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives traced two of the weapons suspected in the murder of lawyer Mario González Rodríguez, but did not report this fact to the Mexican government until eight months after the tracing.

The joint congressional staff report “The Department of Justice’s Operation Fast and Furious: Fueling Cartel Violence” was prepared for U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., two lawmakers who are spearheading an ongoing investigation into the ATF’s controversial operation.

“On October 21, 2010, drug cartel members kidnapped Mario González Rodríguez from his office,” according to the 2011 congressional report. “At the time of the kidnapping, his sister Patricia González Rodríguez was the attorney general of the state of Chihuahua.”

I’ve done quite a bit of writing about Fast and Furious, as have many other Conservative bloggers, but we have to do MORE!

These stories have got to be seen by ALL Americans, even those on the Democratic side of the aisle. Surely they can’t all be like Obama … can they?

Some may not have seen all of the following links, there is quite a bit of info in the links, and most of it was garnered from media sources, such as they are.

ATF’s ‘Fast and Furious’ firearms tracked to at least 11 violent crimes
Issa staffer: Gunrunner investigation points much higher than ATF director
More U.S. agencies implicated in Mexico gun-trafficking probe
ATF promotes supervisors in controversial gun operation
ATF denies it promoted Fast and Furious supervisors
ATF ‘Fast and Furious’ secret audio: Murder of Border Patrol agent ‘collateral damage’
Mexico President Felipe Calderon: ‘No more weapons!’
Issa threatens contempt proceeding against Holder if Justice fails to comply with Fast and Furious subpoenas

Again, with this kind of information available to all of us, WHY isn’t there a cloud of smoke from the TAR POTS swirling over Washington D.C and the DoJ as we demand the truth from Eric Holder and Barack Hussein Obama?

WHY isn’t there a cloud of smoke from the TAR POTS swirling over Washington D.C and the DoJ

The single most important question that has yet to be answered. This is a travesty. I never thought that I would see an abuse of power as I am witness to with this administration.

The American Media could care less about Brian Terry or any other border patrol agent. The only reason they care about Mexicans is because they vote Democrat. If Mexicans voted overwhelming Republican, you can bet the MSM would be screaming for the borders to be secured. All the MSM cares about doing is getting Obama reelected. We must remember this is the same MSM that fought Ronald Reagan as he rebuilt our Armed Forces to thwart the Soviet Union and the ChiComs. The same MSM who labeled the men who fought in Vietnam as “baby killers” and criminals. The same MSM who refused to vet Obama but tore into Sarah Palin’s personal life and family like a pack of Hyenas going after a Zebra.

You said it best Fred: had that bastard of an operation been conducted under a Republican President, the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder and demanding the heads of ALL connected to it, and the media would be orgasmic.

    That says it all.

  4. Steve Dennis says:

Those are all great questions, and I would like the answers as well! This could be the biggest scandal in US history and it is being ignored my the MSM because a Democrat is in the WHite House. I find it to be disgusting and neglectful to say the least, and possibly even criminal.

  5. Bob Mack says:

Since the media is comprised of 90% self-described liberal Democrats, their silence on any issue adversely affecting Dems is a given. Outlets like the NYT and CNN are nothing but propaganda mills—it’s why they’re on the skids. Almost all true investigative journalism being performed in America today is being done by bloggers.

  6. Bunkerville says:

Issa was on Fox this morning, and it did not sound that Boehner and Cantor were on board with a subpoena. He evaded the question asked of him. Holder is counting on Boehner, he has never stood up to the WH, so why now. What a disgrace.

  7. This has been going on, and on. The people that set this up were incompetent. Those that cover it up, a continuing saga, are criminals. I posted about this well over a year ago and several times since. All for an agenda to disarm we the people by validating the ninety percent myth.

How many more decent Americans will have to die so that the leftest can get their way?
