NSA collecting phone records for millions of Verizon customers, report says

NSA LogoA British newspaper is claiming to have evidence that the National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order.

The order, a copy of which was reportedly obtained by The Guardian, was reportedly granted by the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court on April 25 and is good until July 19.

It requires Verizon, one of the nation’s largest telecommunications companies, on an “ongoing, daily basis” to give the NSA information on all telephone calls in its systems, both within the U.S. and between the U.S. and other countries.

The newspaper claims the document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of U.S. citizens were being collected indiscriminately and in bulk, regardless of whether they were suspected of any wrongdoing.

Neither Fox News nor the Associated Press could not authenticate the report as of early Thursday. Fox News

Well, apparently, someone must have gained the information necessary to authenticate the report, or enough to make Obama nervous.

White House defends collecting phone records

WASHINGTON (AP) – The White House on Thursday defended the National Security Agency’s need to collect telephone records of U.S. citizens, calling such information “a critical tool in protecting the nation from terrorist threats.”

While defending the practice, a senior Obama administration official did not confirm a newspaper report that the NSA has been collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order. My Way News

I am sitting here laughing my head off at one particular line in this story.

While defending the practice, a senior Obama administration official did not confirm a newspaper report that the NSA has been collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order.

They aren’t going to confirm nor deny but they, the Obama regime, are DEFENDING the practice of collecting OUR phone records, it’s for our own good too.

Well, since I have Verizon email, Internet service and TV, all through a Verizon FiOS package, and since I am a relatively well known Conservative political activist and blogger, I am guessing that the NSA now has MY emails to go along with others that have been hacked (stolen), they probably have listened in to my phone calls to my local, State and Federal elected officials and to my vast network of Conservative radicals and conspirators, and they are no doubt reading my little blog too. That would explain the hits I see from Washington, DC I am guessing. :P

I think anyone that reads my blog knows, I am NOT scared and these people cannot and do not intimidate me in the least, now it’s time for them (Obama/NSA) to know that.

I have long suspected that someone was listening in to my phone calls. There have been far too many times that I, and the person I was talking to, have heard clicking and static, an unexplained phenomena when you consider, I have Verizon FiOS, one of the most clear services there is.

Let me be perfectly clear on this, I want NO misunderstanding; I detest Barack Hussein Obama and everything he and his evil regime stand for. I am rapidly coming to seriously detest any and every one that works for and IN the Obama regime and the Federal government. I have plainly stated that many times in this blog and in emails, so, I am guessing the NSA might already know.

In phone thought to be private conversations I have called Barack Hussein Obama names that I just don’t use here on the blog.

I make NO apology for that and I stand beside every word I have spoken or written in that regard.

To those NSA employees that may or may not be reading the blog, hacking my email or listening to my phones calls, I say may or may not because I can’t confirm their being here, but to those fine fellows, if they are doing so, KEEP LISTENING AND READING YOU BASTARDS!

You might actually learn something, you know, like how to be a real American Patriot and not some ass-kissing Obama sycophant.

P.S. If this operation was supposed to be a TOP SECRET operation, you guys messed that one up too.

  1. So THAT’S what that was! (I’m a Verizon customer, too!) Maybe it’s time to begin using those “disposable” phones (burners) … you know … like the bad guys on TV.

Under the obama crap; lies are the truth, so I fully agree with you. I, too, have had that same thought.

  2. Thanks, Fred. I was wondering who the dude was under my desk when I went to sit down and type this response.

What I find most disturbing is wording on the request. “The order, signed by Judge Roger Vinson, compels Verizon to produce to the NSA electronic copies of “all call detail records or ‘telephony metadata’ created by Verizon for communications between the United States and abroad” or “wholly within the United States, including local telephone calls”.
Judge Vinson is the first Federal Judge to declare Obamacare un-Constitutional and is reputed to be a tea party member. His actions on this FISA letter here is very questionable being the request is so broad and under the Patriot Act is only supposed to be applied to business records of suspects, but following on the demand by the Judge in California that Google release records also under a FISA letter even though the Judge declared the request illegal.

  4. Will it ever end..? Not until the obama is dethroned.

Finally what we have been saying and posting is making headway. Most all of these headlines have been broken by blogs.

  6. LD Jackson says:

Boy, am I glad I have AT&T. I’m sure they can’t listen in on them. ;)

Seriously, this is not a light-hearted subject matter. I am afraid far too many people do not realize just how serious it is that our government is so determined to spy on the people in America. Heads should roll for this, but I have no doubt that will not happen.

Don’t forget the Google, Apple, and Facebook servers are like open books to them, simply because those companies are all for the greater good …

  8. Steve Dennis says:

As the IRS has shown us we can rest assured the Obama regime has ulterior motives behind this and it involves targeting his political enemies. This man is nothing more than a street thug.

  9. Joe Osmun says:

I find it unbelievable that people seem so shocked about this, and the others think its no big deal. Who do you think created the Internet? The US Gov, and the purpose was communication between the missile silos that house our nukes and the person with his finger on the button. So why is it so shocking when we find out the initie that created the Internet has total control of it. Everything that has to do with electronic communication the Gov is potentially watching you and at one time or another and has. what takes the cake is we’re paying for this twice throught taxes, and your monthly phone bill, ISP bill, ect. The only way to end this is to not use it. But we’re so addicted, every direction you look someone is on an iPhone checking Facebook, twitter. Whats even more sick im using my iphone to type this. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Gov created Facebook and the whole Mark Zuckerburg thing was just a cover to hide its true creater. Well I guess I’m going to hit the post commit button and throw this iPhone in the river so I can’t be tracked.

    Freakin’ classic!

I’m on verizon too. *waves to the guy stinking of B.O. in the “top secret” cubicle reading my correspondence with Fred*

Yeah, I figure, what the hell, they have ALL of my stuff anyway, why not have some fun with the bastards…

      • Bluto says:

Remember the movie “Midnight Run” & DeNiro screaming in the phone at the agents doing surveillance on him? I picture you doing that just to annoy these scumbags.

  11. Abigail says:

Yes, indeedy, the more we use technology the easier it is/will be to control us.

Time to haul out the tin cans and the string…
