House Republicans get behind budget agreement

And the GOP wonders WHY real Conservatives and TEA Party people are so against them and the mantra of the GOP.

House Republicans get behind budget agreement

BoehnerWASHINGTON (AP) – Speaker John Boehner sharply criticized outside conservative groups opposed to year-end budget legislation on Thursday and said the measure “takes great steps in the right direction.”

Hours before a scheduled vote on the bill, Boehner repeatedly denounced tea party-aligned organizations for their opposition, saying they were seeking to further their own objectives, not those of the Republican Party or the country. SOURCE

My friends, this nation is in trouble, serious trouble!

We have a President that is, in MY opinion, a narcissistic Socialist that hates the U.S.A. and the Constitution and would like nothing more than to tear it to shreds.

We have a Democratic Senate that supports the President. We have liberal Federal Judges that rule in favor of the President and the Senate. We have a U.S. Congress that is as close to being in the hands of the Democrats as it can possibly be while actually held by a GOP majority.

Congress presently enjoys the lowest level of citizen approval EVER!

Congress is *the peoples House*; it’s where the will of the people, WE, THE PEOPLE, is supposed to reign supreme, not the place where the will of some bunch of brain-dead Dems and traitors to Conservatism, the despicable RINOs, exercise THEIR wants with no regard for those that put them there.

I’m not totally *one sided*. I realize that in government, just like in business, you have to make a few compromises on occasion, but for the love of everything that is right and just, you don’t have to roll over and buy into the Dem party line and become what so many true Conservatives view as *Dem Lite*.

“Frankly, I think they’re misleading their followers. I think they’re pushing our members into places where they don’t want to be. And frankly, I just think that they’ve lost all credibility,” Boehner said at a news conference.

“You know, one of them, they pushed us into the fight to defund Obamacare and shut down the government,” he said in an apparent reference to Heritage Action.

If by saying that Conservatives are “pushing our members into places where they don’t want to be” you mean we’re pushing them to the RIGHT in an effort to force them to become Conservatives, I’d have to say you’re correct Mr. Boehner, you see Sir, YOU are one of the above-mentioned RINOs that embraces *Dem Lite* to which I refer.

Heritage Action, Club for Growth and other groups have urged lawmakers to oppose the measure, some issuing their appeals before the legislation had been made public.

Anyone that claims to be a Republican, or has ANYTHING to do with the GOP, and doesn’t understand that the efforts made by groups like Heritage Action, Club for Growth and other groups is being done in an attempt to take this nation back to a more *sane* place in time and to stop the inevitable PLUNGE off the fiscal cliff that many see as imminent, is also a part of that *Dem Lite* group of RINOs mentioned above.

Mark Levin: Do Republicans not understand that the WHOLE THING is going to collapse?

Talk show host Mark Levin claims that while Republicans might be worried about the politics of another government shutdown, the truth is if we don’t change direction soon, the whole thing is going to collapse.

“We have over a 90 trillion dollar unfunded liability… And ladies and gentlemen, soon it’s 100 trillion dollars. You know what that means? That means our kids and their kids and every future generation is going to be destroyed. Because there’s not enough currency on the face of the earth to address that. Read the FULL STORY HERE

Make no mistake, I was raised in the Dem controlled SOUTH but I became a *Regan Conservative* as time passed and I embraced the GOP and its principles. I didn’t leave the GOP; the GOP left me, and many other Conservatives, behind as they raced to see just how liberal they could become and still fool the voters into believing them to be responsible lawmakers.

We must to refuse to accept the *half-baked* ideas and weak leadership that that the GOP offers today. We either return America to a Conservative nation of morals and fiscal responsibility or America as we have known it is not long for this world.

    Fred,
You are “right on the money” once again. I can’t add anything to this blog.
    Keep up the good fight.

  2. Right on, Fred!

The repubs are about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again! This is why — after 50 years as a republican — I pulled out and went Independent (In NC we are “unaffiliated.”) . It had gotten depressing!

By the way, I saw some figures recently that registered Independents are second only to Democrats as of today. Guess which party is last in registered voters??? Want to venture a guess as to why? This commentary answered that solidly!

    Thanks!

  3. Hgpsurf says:

Boehner has become a mouthpiece for Obama and the Democratic Party, much like Chris Christie. Time for him to go when he says things like this.

  4. LD Jackson says:

Compromise is one thing. Giving away your heart and soul is quite another. This so-called “deal” involves the GOP giving away everything they fought for two years ago in the sequester battle. If they were going to turn around and throw those modest changes down the drain, they shouldn’t have even bothered wasting our time.

  5. Wayne says:

Good post Fred. Until we the people have a voice in government again, we will be the but of liberal jokes and ridicule. I hope during this coming election cycle that the conservative movement has the balls to get the message out about the fraud going on with the voting machines that seem to go in a leftward direction. There are articles out in the blogosphere that claim these machines are programmable to produce a desired result. Does anyone believe that nobody in Philly voted for Romney? I believe that the polling is set up so that the eventual outcome of an election is believable and not the acknowledgement of a landslide for the conservative candidate. I have a faith in the conservative majority of this nation, I just hope no one stays home in disgust.

  6. Capt Ron says:

Boehner has to go, at least as speaker. We can’t vote him out in Texas, I hope where he is from does. He is less than worthless in my book.

  7. BobF says:

The GOP has become the Republican wing of the Democrat Party.

  8. TomR,armed in Texas says:

With a few notable exceptions America is basically a one party nation. That party is the Establishment Party of big govt. and socialist ideas. Boehner is a quisling who can’t take pressure. Pressure opens up his tear ducts. His career path is compromise.

My congressman voted for this budget so I will vote against him in the 2014 primary.

  9. Bob Mack says:

Episodes like this are why the Republicans are going the way of the Whigs … unfortunately, the Jackasses probably won’t emulate the dodo (except in matters of policy).

  10. BARR says:

I wouldn’t trust weepy John Boehner or drac Paul Ryan farther than I could throw ‘em…
