NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Tennessee state trooper who accidentally sent an e-mail proclaiming white pride to 787 state employees has been suspended for 15 days without pay and will have to attend diversity training.
The e-mail from Trooper Brent Gobbell states, in part, “You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member … you call him a racist.” It also includes a list of racist epithets.
The state Department of Safety says Gobbell sent the e-mail to himself so he could print a copy. He did not realize he had also sent it to hundreds of state employees.
An investigation revealed that Gobbell later deleted his responses to the original e-mail and attempted to delete the original too. Gobbell has apologized.

Racism in America: The Hyphenated American
There are African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, Arab-Americans, Native-Americans, etc.
And then there are just – Americans.
Some of you pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
You call me ‘White boy’, ‘Cracker’, ‘Honky’, ‘Whitey’, ‘Gringo’ or ‘Caveman’, and as far as you are concerned, that’s OK, but if I say so much as one word that you consider to be out of line, I am branded as a vile racist.
You say that whites commit acts of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund, Hispanic History Month, Martin Luther King Day, Asian History Month, Black Entertainment Television, Black History Month, Cesar Chavez Day, Kwanzaa and the NAACP.
If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we’d be called racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had a White History Month, we’d be called racist for that.
If we had any organization for Whites Only to ‘advance’ OUR lives, we’d certainly be branded as racists.
There’s a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a Black Chamber of Commerce.
Then we have the Chamber of Commerce, not a White Chamber of Commerce, just The Chamber of Commerce.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we’d be called evil racists.
There are openly-proclaimed Black-Only Colleges in the US, yet if there were ‘White-Only Colleges’, why THAT would be a racist college.
In the Million-Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us bog dwelling, redneck racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and red, and you’re not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, yeah, you got it, we get called racists, NAZIs and a lot worse.
You can rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us, and we’re supposed to sit back and take it?
So why is it that when a white police officer shoots a black gang member, or beats up a black drug-dealer that’s running from the LAW, and posing a threat to ALL of society, why do you call that police officer a racist for simply doing his job?
I am White and I am proud, but, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?
And once again I say, PCness, political correctness WILL be the death of this nation if not stopped dead in it’s tracks! Political correctness got this Tennessee Trooper suspended, sending an email that speaks nothing more than the truth got him suspended and he’s going to have to take sensitivity training, for telling the TRUTH!

People who think everything said about them is racist are right where they deserve to be in the ghetto. And white people who think that almost every other white but them is a racist are right where they need to me. I no longer concern myself with these fools, for they are just that and neither the ghetto black who blames whitey for all his problems or his liberal supporter who encourages and roots him on worrys me for they both will remain in the souring vat of their own racism and neither group will ever find peace. The trooper made a simple mistake by not checking to see who was getting his email, but from what I know about the email it was not racist, but the trooper will have to pay a price in our politically correct world. He may become a racist now, but then he will have fallen into the liberal trap.
This is so wrong. The administration and the PC going on is going to push good people right over that line. How the heck can this email forwarded to someone be considered racist? How can this result in a work suspension? You liberals better get yourselves together.
Most troopers are on the AAA list as far as I’m concerned and this one
was doing nothing except telling the truth. He had probably gotten it in and e-mail and if he wanted a copy, he just should have printed one out for himself. The asswipe in charge should attempt to get some balls also and quit trying to act on these stupid “zero tolerance” policies to kiss asses. I’m am so thoroughly fed up with this political correctness bullshit it makes me want to puke. People need to get a life and laugh at each other for a change instead of taking it as nothing but “racist” remarks. If you want to call me a white bread honkey, you better be prepared to get it right back at ya, then lets go get a beer,coffee, etc.

As far as I’m concerned, the “racism” claims are made by the biggest race haters of all time… liberals. They seem to hate other people who work hard and make gains as a result. They cling to commies, criminals and those who prey on hardworking people and if you make a point that these people are wrong… well, you’re just a racist.
Political correctness in our society is going to be responsible for more deaths than the SS was during WWII.
It didn’t say if this was from a work computer or private computer. If it was a work computer, that was a dumb thing to do since they’re monitored and he should have known better.
You know…….. I read this yesterday and then came back today and read it again with a thought…….. Why not have a White Entertainment TV, Why not have a White Pride day, why not have a White History Month?? etc.etc.. it’s supposed to be a free country, is it not? Euro/caucasions aren’t far from minority status, demographically, in the US. Give it a few more years.
The trooper made, these days, a mistake — and he’ll pay the price. He and/or your e-mail and your final closing note may state the obvious, but the obvious isn’t what plays these days — particularly with GOWPs (Guilty, Over-educated White People). That’s just a fact of life.
But further, in a non-PC fashion, I will state the obvious again, which no one yet has dared to say or write: if your ethnicity is Euro/Caucasion, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren have been doomed to a life of second-class status. Because if you think the Circle will “come around again” and those who make up the then-US Primacy Demography — be it blacks or Mexicans or even (and in particular) Muslims — will do for Euro/Caucasions what ECs did for other “minorities” — that is to say, promote them, create special laws placing them in protected class status, hold them out for special education, special jobs, etc — you’re then massively mistaken. Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will become a lot in a vast underclass and shall remain in that underclass. Unless and until they possess the will and the courage to pull themSELVES out of it.
If you’re expecting nobility from the Coming Demography in the US, you’re about to be roundly disappointed.
