Texas ‘Cruz Missile’ — Senator standing by his principles, ready to take the heat

Ted CruzTexas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz has earned a few nicknames in the brief seven weeks he’s been in Congress – including the unflattering “Senator No.” But nobody can say the freshman senator has broken his campaign promise to shake up Washington upon arrival.

The Tea Party-backed candidate has so far made good on vows to be combative and uncompromising in his adherence to conservative principles.

The 42-year-old Cruz has already voted against Senate rule changes to modestly curb filibusters, aid for Superstorm Sandy victims and the Violence Against Women Act, arguing that stopping and punishing violent criminals is largely a state responsibility.

He also was one of only three “no” votes against Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry’s nomination to be secretary of State. And he publicly skewered President Obama’s nominee for Defense secretary, former Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel.

How can you tell when Ted Cruz is speaking the truth and driving it home? The Libtards pee all over themselves and start calling him Joe McCarthy, Sen. NO, and a few other names that I am not going to use on this blog.

I have built this blog by offering my REAL and true opinions on politics and other social issues, I have been as honest in those opinions as I can possibly be. I see no need to change that practice now. The TRUTH will stand the light of day. The Libtards lies can’t be brought into the light, they will turn to ashes.

During the primaries I did NOT support Ted Cruz. Looking back, I wish I had, you see, Ted Cruz is a FIREBALL, he speaks his mind, he stands for what he believes in and in my opinion he represents traditional Conservative Texas values quite well.

In the general election we voted for Ted Cruz, he was the best choice and I was hoping that all the talk and hype weren’t just talk and hype.

So, Ted Cruz gets elected and immediately hits the ground running, doing exactly what he said he would do, and that has set the Libtards hair on fire.

On February 24, 2013 the Houston Chronicle ran a piece on Cruz titled Cruz’s tactics boil Washington, but impress Texas and it brought the Libtards out of the woodwork like the cockroaches they are.

Many of the comments on the piece from the Chron are so far to the left it’s almost unbelievable that the comment makers can stand up straight. According to many in that comments section Cruz is a disgrace to Texas, he should consider himself to be a *one and done*, meaning that he can’t get re-elected in Texas. Others say that Ted Cruz is giving the Libtards all the power they need to turn Texas into a BLUE state in the 2016 elections.

As usual, the Libtards talk a good game, then they run off to *smoke a bowl* or have an abortion and start to lose interest in Liberal causes when reality sneaks in as they too see the house of cards that the Obama regime and Wall Street surge really are.

Sen. Ted Cruz; I am PROUD to have you as one of our Texas Senators, you are doing a great job of representing the Conservative people of Texas and I wish you a wonderful and fruitful stay in the Senate, two terms, but a magnificent two terms.

I have always heard that you draw the most *flak* when you’re directly over the target! Keep on firing Sen. Cruz; you are ON TARGET, no adjustment needed.

You are right on Fred. When the libtards wet themselves and start spiting fire, they know they’ve been uncovered. Wish I could be so sure about Rubio, not convinced he’s a true conservative. Men, and women like Cruz will make a difference but it’s going to take a lot of work to get there. CR

  2. LD Jackson says:

I like your paragraph. Indeed, Senator Cruz is making quite the stir, in a body that doesn’t appreciate a stir. I think he needs to continue stirring the pot until it boils over and something of value is accomplished.

  3. Look, here’s the deal.

YOU make mistakes — I make mistakes.

We support or fail to support various persons.

    We clean up our backgrounds.

Because we GET to remake our decisions, remake our stands.

    That’s not a bad thing. That’s a GOOD thing.

  4. Bunkerville says:

This must have McConnell and Boehner’s knickers in a knot. Someone to stir the stew is exactly what we need.

  5. Cary says:

You know what? After his two terms there, I would sponsor a movement to get him to move to Arizona for a couple more terms …

  6. GoA supported Ted Cruz, and the NRA the other person. That said, I love it when a plan works out! An honest politician that does what he says after being elected? Be loud and proud Texas!

  7. Top John says:

It’s unfortunate that he is an exception and not the rule.

  8. Steve Dennis says:

I like what I am seeing from him so far! There aren’t many politicians I like right now but he is at the top of the list, I just hope the Republican leadership doesn’t get to him.
