Congressional Black Caucus recommends Sheila Jackson Lee for Homeland Security Secretary
Conservative bloggers went wild Monday when they got wind of the Congressional Black Caucus’ suggestion that President Obama pick Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Houston for the post of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
Rich Cooper, avid blogger for Security Debrief, responded to the news of the Jackson Lee recommendation in a post by saying, “Apparently, it is not a joke. For reasons that baffle any sense of reality, it is a serious gesture on the part of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) to encourage President Obama to nominate Rep. Jackson Lee as a replacement for outgoing-DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.”
A letter dated July 25 and signed by CBC Chairwoman Rep. Marcia Fudge, an Ohio Democrat, urges President Barack Obama to consider Jackson Lee for the position formerly held by Janet Napolitano, the first woman to hold the position. Napolitano resigned earlier this month to become president of the University of California.
“Representative Jackson Lee would serve as an effective DHS Secretary because she understands the importance of increasing border security and maintaining homeland security,” the nomination letter reads.

I know I’m a bit late to the party on this story, I would have already had something up on this but my Internet connection and phone has been down ALL day, today of all days.
There are many reasons that Sheila Jackson Lee should NOT be the Secretary of DHS, and none of it has to do with her *race*, it has to do with the fact, yes, the FACT that Sheila Jackson Lee is too stupid to breathe if it required any thought process.

The list of gaffes, errors and sheer stupidity go on and on.
In my opinion the above tells me ALL I need to know about Sheila Jackson Lee and her own brand of incompetence. That incompetence will make her the ideal candidate to take a Cabinet position in the Obama regime!
And for what it’s worth; what does this say about the Congressional Black Caucus and their support OF Sheila Jackson Lee?
One last thing; send this along to your Congress members and Senators. If they’re not too busy with their own committees and such, maybe they’ll take a look at this and work hard in an effort to keep this FOOL, Sheila Jackson Lee OUT of the regime.

Rep. Lee is a Moron. The Black Caucus is made up of Morons. Putting DHS in her hands would lead to every kind of trouble in the streets of America you can imagine. If Obama was to choose her, there would be no doubt left that he intends to be a dictator and needs loyal idiots around him to pull it off.

On a side note, after a few more minutes to think about this. I can NOT for one instance believe that obama thinks she is the best person for the job. I am willing to bet that obama’s reason for placing her in this position is he knows full well it will raise racial tensions significantly.
Every tyrant needs a chaotic out of control situation in order to declare martial law, remove our guns, and jail those he disagree with them. obama is going to use racial divide and race riots as his vehicle to accomplish this. Wont anyone ever acknowledge that though blacks account for a mere 12.5% of the total US population (according to the 2010 US Census), via the Congressional Black Cacus and the NAACP, they garner the majority of media attention simply because of the color of their skin, forcing the continued divide by race, as demonstrated by the use of the terms ‘we’ and ‘they’.
Nothing more than blacks perpetuating racism, and Sadly Jackson is the best ‘they’ got to offer.
Obama could name her first knowing full well she will not make it, making it easier for his second person named and most likely no better than the first.

Congressional Black Caucus? This is the same Caucus which has Hank Johnson as one of its members. Johnson is the Congressman who though stationing additional Marines on Guam would actually cause the island to tip over. I think a credential of holding the DHS post should be prior military service as an officer with extensive field service. Putting someone on the post without this experience is the blind leading the blind in my opinion.

My lack of respect for her is so profound that it causes me to physically reel and stagger. To think she was ever elected and now considered for this position is at best comical.

The only straw many of grasped at after O-knucklehead was elected was that he would enlist older folks with at least some experience to advise and guide him.
