Bundy Ranch: This was a TEST, it was only a TEST – Part II

Bundy Ranch: This was a TEST, it was only a TEST – Part II

From my friend and blogging partner, Rob Bush, I present this: Nevada Ranch Standoff.

Nevada Ranch Standoff

So this is happening:

(Note: I would have used a different source, but I won’t use INFOWARS for anything, So I decided to use Always Barack Channel- ABC)

Nevada Rancher Threatens ‘Range War’ Against Feds

A Nevada rancher’s threat to wage a “range war” with the federal Bureau of Land Management precipitated a standoff today between supporters of the embattled rancher, Cliven Bundy, and law enforcement officials.

Bundy posted a statement on the Bundy Ranch website on Sunday night saying: “They have my cattle and now they have one of my boys. Range War begins tomorrow.”

He invited supporters to show up this morning on his property, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, near Bunkerville, just west of the Utah state line.

Now, there’s probably another side to this and it might be valid. From what I understand the rancher owes like 300k in “Grazing fee’s” or something.. So that’s call to take the mans ranch? To have 200 armed feds seize his cattle? To have snipers, APC’s outside of his ranch? Well, it sounds like its a bit overkill to me.

Here’s a few things I notice: Harry Reid is silent about it. Must be because the rancher isn’t a Koch brother, isn’t gay, isn’t an illegal alien, isn’t a cowboy poet. If he were any of things, Harry Reid would be commenting on it.

Barack Obama is silent about this, if the rancher was black and a democrat voter, if he were gay, if he were illegal, if he were a muslim, Obama would be commenting on it.

Eric Holder is silent about this, if the Rancher were black he would be calling off the dogs.

I’m also seeing some strange coincidences. We send AK’s and AR’s to Mexican cartels who use those arms to kill our border agents who are armed with bean bags. But our federal government will send men with sniper rifles, APC’s and military gear to an American ranch for 300k of grazing rights?

Hillary Clinton loses 6 BILLION dollars and nobody is pointing rifles at her.

Charles Rangle has more outstanding debt to American Government than this rancher has.

We have MILLIONS of illegal immigrants here that are committing fraud on a grand scale way more than 300k worth of debt owed, yet no federal raids on taco stands or homes with 30 people in them.

My prayers go out to the rancher and his family. We don’t live in an America anymore where a tax paying citizen, a self sufficient man and a man who REALLY FEEDS the nation is respected. Instead of helping people like this, our society now punishes them. There’s not enough of them anymore to vote in a block like welfare recipients or illegal immigrants or gays or public unions. The media for the most part will paint this rancher as an extremist. Because their meals come from Dear Leader Barack Obama, not some rancher in Nevada.

Hey Harry Reid, maybe you should stand up for one of your constituents.. Not gonna happen though, nothing in it for Good ol Harry. Maybe the rancher can take up cowboy poetry, then Harry would take notice….

I hope you’ll visit Rob’s blog often. He has a full time job and doesn’t blog as much as I do, but when he blogs, it IS worth reading. American and Proud | Political opinion and hard hitting analysis of all things American

Thanks Fred…. To have my opinion featured here the TFB is an honor. Thanks again.

  2. Dick Robie says:

I think this incident is the first of more to come. The Federal Government is violating the Constitutiion in many many ways. Not only were this mans 4th Amendment Rights violatee hiw Civil Rights were violated. The Governor of the State was virtually silent. Harry Reid is NOT Nevada’s Sr. Senator (he may claim to be from here) but he is a liar, and has forgotten who hired him and what his Job it. Of course Dean Heller was silent too. Do you know what 400 prime cattle are worth? It is theft. Now Bundy will face the Eric Holder Justice (oxymoron) Department. You know, the one who refuses to investigate IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi and refuses to enforce laws he doesnt like.

This country is in deep shit.

  3. minuteman26 says:

The question is; How many federal goons are willing to die for Obama over things like protecting a desert tortoise ? The next civil war almost began at Bunkerville over the weekend. It was obvious the feds were outnumbered and would have lost that engagement. But with all the federal government overreach an incident such as this is bound to happen again. Then what? Time for the federal government to get back to operating within the framework of the Constitution…….. for their own good.

    • Dick Robie says:

Minuteman 26—for OUR own good. They allegedly work for us.

      • minuteman26 says:

No for their own good. So that they will be able to live long, happy and prosperous lives.

        • Dick Robie says:

Oh, OK - guess ur right. I sure hope we prevail at the poles in ’14—hopefully that will fix a lot of things

    • BobF says:

Although the Feds were outnumbered, they weren’t when it came to firepower. Guys on horses with handguns and semi-automatic rifles are no match for armored personnel carriers and helicopters armed with automatic weapons and miniguns. Unless there were sufficient numbers hidden among the terrain with adequate cover, it would have been over in a matter of minutes.

I believe they were ordered to back down because the saw what the wanted to see and gathered the intelligence they needed. It wasn’t just on who showed up, transmissions were monitored to see who and where they went to.

  4. Wayne says:

I don’t like the smell of this one Fred. Mr. Hagman has been a feature on Canada Free Press for as long as I can remember. If he has a source in confidence, as I believe he does, then I think I am going to reconsider my options for the American Spring rally. If the SHTF, I want to be close to my loved ones. That may be why a smaller turnout could be the desired result of this corrupt administrations’ tactics. What say you?

  5. Robert says:

Wayne: Should it come to it, get your loved ones to a safe locale. The guerilla war will be in full effect. The American patriot is more adapt to using American law against Fed gov. than any of our foreign enemies. On American soil, there’s a lot that can be done on offense. The patriots who have been rallying at Bundy Ranch were doing so with constitution on their side and with the hope that media attention would keep it from being bloody. Should it get bloody, we go from victims to aggressors in all facets of life. Every fed who pulls triggers against US CITIZENS becomes a target unto themselves. Their families, their friends everything becomes open season.

I hope to GOD ALMIGHTY the government is shrunk before this happens. But in open war the Patriots in America can’t win. We can’t compete with the air power, the intel the communication. We can’t match bullet for bullet. We can however make those pulling the trigger wish they hadn’t. We can force them to think more about their oaths to defend rather than offend. We can make the fed gov wish they were at war in Moscow or Tehran rather than here where their families are. We can bring to bear a level of warfare that makes the Islamic cult look like girl scouts. And we can do it from behind the constitution…

    • BobF says:

Being military, it’s one thing to be deployed overseas for whatever contingency knowing your family and loved ones are safe and sound back home in the States. But, when the battle is being fought back home and your family is no longer safe, but a target, it’s a whole different ballgame.

  6. John Odum says:

One thing going against the feds in this case was TV coverage. They were not covered by the Obama cloak of invisibility. Lots of American citizens were watching this and wondering what the hell was going on. Any aggression towards the protestors was going to be on national TV as well as the internet.

  7. Robert says:

John, If it weren’t for NEW MEDIA like this blog and others, the Mainstream would have set the narrative and it would have been a very minor protest at best. New media forced the mainstream to cover it objectively because the truth was in real time.

Beware of losing new media or having it controlled. Like the 2nd amendment if it is weakened it loses its teeth. The MSM has been found to be nothing more than a propaganda channel for the democrat party. If power changes in DC it will be interesting to see if they continue their water carrying or will they wake up and start investigation. My money is on the latter.

    • Dick Robie says:

Interesting comment. A poll was taken locally and better than 55% said Bundy should have just paid his grazing fee’s and this never would have happened. I got a question tho-the Fed has the right to tax, but do they have the right to impose “fee’s”? It is public land. It is in Nevada-so to whom does it belong?

  8. Robert says:

The federal government owns 90% of the land in Nevada. Which is why Bundy had a problem. The land Bundy is on has been in his family over a 100 yrs. When the Government took it, they never gave Bundy shit. He kept grazing his cattle there and offered to pay the STATE/COUNTY for the rights but he wasn’t paying the feds SHIT. He stood up instead of backing down. He was the last one.

    • Dick Robie says:

The Federal Government does not own it-the people of the United States own it and as long as it is in Nevada the citizens of Nevada own it. The Fed has taken it upon themselves to “manage” our resource. They should get out and let the State manage the citizens property.

      • Robert says:

The federal government owns it. By extension the American people it own it, however; the people who run the government are the stewards of the land. Depending on WHO is in DC the lands use is dictated supposedly “By the people”

The federal government is in charge of that land since they took it over in the land grab. It wasn’t all at once either it was parsed in to the BLM over time. People like Bundy got ousted via regulations from the FED.

The state should be in charge of its management I agree with that Dick.

  9. Always On Watch says:

Excellent points in this post. Thank you for calling this to our attention, Fred.

The fact that the feds descended on the Bundy Ranch in that way is cause for alarm. Furthermore, the way that the mainstream media outlets have done their best to avoid reporting what transpired there is another cause for alarm.

Now, here’s my question: How many Americans are paying attention?

    • Dick Robie says:

This one is. That event reminded me of Ruby Ridge and Waco. Just when will we have had enough. ?????????

Why Cliven Bundy Is Not Wrong- From A Fellow Rancher
Posted by Liberty On April 13, 2014
There have been a lot of people criticizing Clive Bundy because he did not pay his grazing fees for 20 years. The public is also probably wondering why so many other cowboys are supporting Mr. Bundy even though they paid their fees and Clive did not. What you people probably do not realize is that on every rancher’s grazing permit it says the following: “You are authorized to make grazing use of the lands, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and covered by this grazing permit, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this grazing permit and payment of grazing fees when due.” The “mandatory” terms and conditions go on to list the allotment, the number and kind of livestock to be grazed, when the permit begins and ends, the number of active or suspended AUMs (animal units per month), etc. The terms and conditions also list specific requirements such as where salt or mineral supplements can be located, maximum allowable use of forage levels (40% of annual growth), etc., and include a lot more stringent policies that must be adhered to. Every rancher must sign this “contract” agreeing to abide by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before he or she can make payment. In the early 90s, the BLM went on a frenzy and drastically cut almost every rancher’s permit because of this desert tortoise issue, even though all of us ranchers knew that cow and desert tortoise had co-existed for a hundred+ years. As an example, a family friend had his permit cut by 90%. For those of you who are non ranchers, that would be equated to getting your paycheck cut 90%. In 1976 there were approximately 52 ranching permittees in this area of Nevada. Presently, there are 3. Most of these people lost their livelihoods because of the actions of the BLM. Clive Bundy was one of these people who received extremely unfair and unreasonable TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Keep in mind that Mr. Bundy was required to sign this contract before he was allowed to pay. Had Clive signed on the dotted line, he would have, in essence, signed his very livelihood away. And so Mr. Bundy took a stand, not only for himself, but for all of us. He refused to be destroyed by a tyrannical federal entity and to have his American liberties and freedoms taken away. Also keep in mind that all ranchers financially paid dearly for the forage rights those permits allow – - not rights to the land, but rights to use the forage that grows on that land. Many of these AUMS are water based, meaning that the rancher also has a vested right (state owned, not federal) to the waters that adjoin the lands and allow the livestock to drink. These water rights were also purchased at a great price. If a rancher cannot show beneficial use of the water (he must have the appropriate number of livestock that drinks and uses that water), then he loses that water right. Usually water rights and forage rights go hand in hand. Contrary to what the BLM is telling you, they NEVER compensate a rancher for the AUMs they take away. Most times, they tell ranchers that their AUMS are “suspended,” but not removed. Unfortunately, my family has thousands of “suspended” AUMs that will probably never be returned. And so, even though these ranchers throughout the course of a hundred years invested thousands(and perhaps millions) of dollars and sacrificed along the way to obtain these rights through purchase from others, at a whim the government can take everything away with the stroke of a pen. This is the very thing that Clive Bundy single-handedly took a stand against. Thank you, Clive, from a rancher who considers you a hero.

As a footnote, I didn’t realize that Cliven Bundy has been branded a ‘domestic terrorist’ and an ‘anti government extremist’ by the like of the daily kos and the southern poverty law center.
So I made the mistake of looking at the daily kos, a thing I have never done before…the vitriol and hate spewed toward Bundy (and conservatives in general) was mindnumbing and chilling. I wasn’t before but now can say that I am a bit worried for his safety.
Now feel the overwhelming need to take a very hot shower and scrub myself with a powerful antiseptic and hopefully that will get rid of the stink I feel I acquired from the dirt on that site.

I just saw this. Paddy wagons, mobile command post??? Does anyone have any information on this? If it’s true…
