Young illegal immigrants coming out of the shadows

She was tiny and trembling and looked so very vulnerable. Barely 15, having already experienced a lifetime of hardships since losing her mother at 5 and crossing the desert with her father, she clutched a microphone before a crowd in New York’s Union Square.

“My name is Diana,” she said. “I am undocumented and unafraid.”

With those words last March, another young woman stepped “out of the shadows.”

It began several years ago, tentatively, almost furtively, with a few small rallies and a few provocative T-shirts. In the past two years it has grown into a full-fledged movement, emboldening thousands of young people, terrifying their parents, and unsettling authorities unsure of how to respond.

Young illegal immigrants coming out of the shadows

With the ILLEGAL loving President we have in office right now, and the ILLEGAL loving President that preceded him, it’s no wonder that authorities are unsure as to how to respond.

This is one issue where I can’t just point a finger at Barack Hussein Obama and say ‘well, there ya go, that’s the way the Democrats do it’ because it’s NOT just the Democrats.

Many say the only reason that Obama and Company won’t enforce immigration laws is because they see the ILLEGALS as *future Democratic voters*. I don’t necessarily buy into that one, not 100%, and here’s why; George W. Bush loved him some ILLEGALS too, was he looking at them and seeing *future GOP voters*?

Bush wanted his version of *The Dream Act* put in place, one that included full amnesty, and was a plan that opened up many eyes as to what kind of RINO George W. Bush really was.

From California to Georgia to New York, children of families who live here illegally are “coming out” - marching behind banners that say “undocumented and unafraid,” staging sit-ins in federal offices, and getting arrested in the most defiant ways - in front of the Alabama Capitol, outside federal immigration courts and detention centers, in Maricopa County, Ariz., home of the sworn enemy of illegal immigrants, Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

In “outing” their families as well as themselves, they know they risk being deported.

Actually, no, they risk little and face a very small threat of deportation, the Department of Justice and some very LIBERAL U.S. District and Appeals Courts are stopping every state from enforcing the LAW OF THAT LAND, the laws that the Federal Government will not enforce.

States like Georgia and Arizona pass immigration and reform laws, Arizona SB 1070 and Georgia immigration reform, then the Federal Courts strike them down. States are only trying to do what our own government won’t do; enforce the laws of the land.

But as states pass ever more stringent anti-illegal immigration laws - and critics denounce their parents as criminals - these young people say they have no choice.

Even critics who are sympathetic to their cause say the federal government has failed to secure the U.S. borders and that it’s too costly to provide schooling, hospital care and other public services to non-citizens. Offering a path to citizenship for those brought into the country illegally as children, they say, simply rewards the parents’ law-breaking.

We have all that we can do to take care of Americans, LEGAL Americans. To overlook the children of ILLEGALS, and to give them a *free pass*, is a slap in the face to ALL Americans, especially those that are here because they chose to be here and did it the right way; they came here legally and worked their way to citizenship.

Maybe we need to consider adopting these following laws as our guidelines.

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.

2. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how long they are here.

3. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, nor any other government assistance programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed to own waterfront property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no “bad-mouthing” our president or his policies. If you do you will be sent home.

8. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.

Too harsh, you say?

The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of MEXICO.

America has lost its way, lost its moral compass and we are rapidly descending into an unrecoverable tail spin.

We will NEVER regain the direction needed under the Democrats, sadly, I don’t believe there is anyone in a position of power on the GOP national stage that has the GUTS to stand up, tell it like it REALLY is and guide this nation back from the edge of total destruction.

We can start by securing the borders of this nation and vigorously enforcing the laws of the land. A criminal is a criminal, I don’t see a difference in degrees of lawlessness, and no one in this nation should be allowed to blatantly break American law and be given a *free pass*, a college education and a fast track to U.S. citizenship for doing so!

Fred, your new laws are just the right thing. Too bad it wont happen. I would be happy if the US Government, who’s saleries we pay would just enforce existing law. To me that is a no brainer. But, consider the no brains in WDC-I am not surprised.

    “I am undocumented and unafraid.”

    Deport, deport, deport.

We need a Southern California riot between the illegal mexicans who live in Santa Ana, CA. versus the black gangs who live in their ghetto area of South Los Angeles.

They bang each other now and then, because they both hate each other to the bone.

Forget about “whitey”, as we will be on the sidelines watching.
Let them kill each other out.

These two races absolutely hate each other, as our prison population records show.

Set up “check control points” and keep score and the popcorn fresh.

Also cut off all welfare checks, EBT cards.

No more money, unless you get a job and EARN it by working for it.

Don’t like this? Then move back to Mexico. Move back to Detroit!!!

GW Bush always said the illegals were ‘doing the jobs Americans wouldn’t do’. Jobs like high paying jobs at Howard Industries in Mississippi where 600 illegals were detained. After the raid, hundreds of American Citizens lined up to apply for the jobs Bush said Americans wouldn’t do. The same thing has happened at meat packing plants all over the Midwest. Just like in Mississippi, when the raids get rid of illegals, American Citizens line up for the vacant jobs. BTW, Howard Industries pled guilty and was fined 2.5 million for its hiring of illegals; chump change for the worlds largest producer of electrical transformers
