FBI walks tightrope in outreach to Muslims

WASHINGTON - At a retirement party last week for the head of the FBI’s Washington field office, Muslim and Arab leaders presented the guest of honor with a crystal plaque.

It thanked Joseph Persichini Jr. for reaching out to the local Muslim and Arab communities. Yet even as the tribute on Capitol Hill went on, his agents had a different mission. They were flying to Pakistan to interrogate five Washington area Muslim men arrested in a terrorism probe. The outcome of that investigation threatens to undermine the very relationships their boss tried to foster.

Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, FBI agents from the same office have met with Muslim leaders, fielded questions at mosques and participated in Ramadan feasts. The outreach might well have resulted in the families of the five men coming forward to the FBI to report them missing.

But that action now has agents and prosecutors facing a dilemma as the case has morphed from a missing persons investigation into a counter-terrorism probe. As U.S. officials consider whether to file criminal charges against the men and how aggressively to prosecute any potential case, some Muslim leaders are calling for leniency, saying the tough approach often used by the Bush administration would alienate a community whose relationship with law enforcement is uneasy.

I have used this analogy before, it bears repeating.

There are 100 Diamondback Rattlers in a pit, but 2 of them are really nice snakes. All they want to do is sit on the sofa with you, eat Doritos, watch the ball game and be your buddy. But are you going to wade off into that snake pit and try to find out exactly which 2 it is? All the while being struck and killed by the ones that aren’t nice snakes?

That is exactly what the FBI is doing, they are walking through the snake pit!

Islam is our enemy. If you are Christian or Jew, if you are a free capitalist, if you are a free thinker, Islam is your enemy. I didn’t make it that way, I didn’t set the rules, the radical worshipers of a goat loving pedophile set the rules. Islam declares that WE are the enemy, and unless WE submit to THEM, they are going to kill ALL of us so that Islam can dominate the world.

Pretty one-way thinking in my opinion, but hey, we didn’t declare this war, Islam did. We didn’t attack Mecca on Sept. 11th, Islam attacked New York City and Washington, D.C. And now, since it appears that we have what is turning out to be the most gutless president in American history, we’re going to try and seek out the good snakes in hopes that they can bend the bad snakes to our way of thinking.

Back in January of 2009 I posted this: Bin Laden urges jihad against Israel; White House scoffs. Of course the White House scoffs, Obama is NOT going to do any more than absolutely necessary when dealing with HIS Muslim brothers!

A while back there was an email floating around asking this question, ‘Can you be a good Muslim and a good American?’. The answers follow:

Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.

Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)

Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Alleged Ft. Hood gunman may have 9/11 mosque link

FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - A key U.S. senator said Sunday he would begin an investigation into whether the Army missed signs that the man accused of opening fire at Fort Hood had embraced an increasingly extremist view of Islamic ideology.

Sen. Joe Lieberman’s call for the investigation came as word surfaced that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan apparently attended the same Virginia mosque as two Sept. 11 hijackers in 2001, at a time when a radical imam preached there. Whether Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, associated with the hijackers is something the FBI will probably look into, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

Classmates participating in a 2007-2008 master’s program at a military college complained repeatedly to superiors about what they considered Hasan’s anti-American views. Dr. Val Finnell said Hasan gave a presentation at the Uniformed Services University that justified suicide bombing and told classmates that Islamic law trumped the U.S. Constitution.

Another classmate said he complained to five officers and two civilian faculty members at the university. He wrote in a command climate survey sent to Pentagon officials that fear in the military of being seen as politically incorrect prevented an “intellectually honest discussion of Islamic ideology” in the ranks. The classmate also requested anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

I am going to say some things here that aren’t politically correct. In fact, some of it may very well be as bigoted as anything I have ever posted, bordering on HATE SPEECH regarding Islam.

Once again, I say to my readers, you have been warned!

The 1st thing I have to say isn’t so bad. Look at the title line of this post. ‘Alleged Ft. Hood gunman may have 9/11 mosque link’. Alleged? I guess that is the epitome of political correctness on the part of the media. I hate PCness, and that word just jumped off of the page.

Now, to the serious part, how damned desperate is our military? Don’t they vet their Officer Corps? This guy Hasan went to Mosque with a couple of the 9-11 hijackers? Even if that’s just a maybe, the Army somehow missed that little gem? The guy is a psychiatrist, an officer, he will be debriefing God only knows who in the chain of command, he’ll be hearing the deepest, darkest secrets of combat stressed troops and this guy MAY have attended Mosque with some of the 9-11 attackers?

Hasan has numerous complaints filed. He was an Islamic radical long before he snapped and went on his rampage at Ft. Hood. Others saw it, made their opinions known and nothing was done? This wasn’t even looked into?

“If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have zero tolerance,” Lieberman, an independent from Connecticut, said on “Fox News Sunday.”"He should have been gone.”

Lieberman has hit this one on the head. An investigation does need to be launched, an immediate investigation that gets ALL the facts and lets the cards fall where they may.

I make absolutely NO secret of the fact that I detest Islam and every one of it’s followers. I don’t believe Islam belongs in America and I know for damned certain that Islam has NO place in our armed forces, but I am also convinced that the PCness brought on our military when the *Don’t ask, don’t tell* bullshit was started is also the PCness that keeps our military screeners and recruiters from being able to ask the really hard questions.

Another thing I don’t understand, Islam is the sworn enemy of the United States, and of ALL free people the world over. WHY would a Muslim want to serve in our military in the 1st place?

Islam - The Religion of Death, Destruction and Hatred

Today in my email, from one Valentin Jeutner, [email protected]. It seems that Valentin is upset at me over this story: Scholars Plan U.S. First Four-Year Islamic College, Val appears to think that Islam really IS a religion of peace, and that I am spreading hate and lies. I am fully aware of what Islam is, it is the religion of HATE and DEATH, they hate ALL Jews and Christians and they are commanded to kill ALL Jews and Christians if they refuse to submit to their moon god, Allah.

Valentin, folks that read my blog know, I never go to a fight unarmed, I take facts, figures and sources to any on-line fight. I don’t allow the U.S. media, or any other media to tell me what to think, that was an accusation made by Val too.

Does the Qur’an really contain dozens of verses promoting violence?

Summary Answer:

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called ‘hypocrites’ and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

These verses are mostly open-ended, meaning that the historical context is not embedded within the surrounding text (as are nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence). They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subjective as anything else in the Qur’an.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. This proclivity toward violence - and Muhammad’s own martial legacy - has left a trail of blood and tears across world history.

This information was NOT garnered from a MEDIA source Val. Your whining and crying, and denigration of America has not changed my attitude regarding Muslims in any way. As a matter of fact, your screed in my email only convinced me even more of the correctness in my assumption that Islam, and the people that follow it, are purveyors of hate and death. The *Religion of Peace* is a complete misnomer, below are just a few of the passages from the Quran that call for death to ANY that don’t submit:

Qur’an (3:56) - “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”

Qur’an (4:89) - “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Qur’an (8:12) - “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Qur’an (47:35) - “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost (Shakir: “have the upper hand”) for Allah is with you,”

Sounds pretty peaceful to me… And there’s a lot more citation at the link above.

Valentin, just so you know, this is MY blog, it is where I write and share my opinions and feelings with family, friends and readers. It’s really very simple, if you don’t like what I have to say here, simply click OFF and don’t come back. I don’t really care if you, or any other Islamic moonbat, likes what I have to say or not. Barack Hussein Obama may not believe that America is at war with Islam, but Obama is wrong, or, he is a liar and only speaks to cover his real intentions. Islam is MY enemy, Islam is the enemy of ALL Christians and Jews. Islam is the enemy of ALL free people everywhere.
